Amazing What You Can Do Using 2 Cups of Water

water play 4My daughter found this great idea that her Mayhem really enjoyed so we thought we would share it with you.

The activity is on a brilliant Australian blog called ‘Learn With Play At Home’ and you can see the full article –  ‘Toddler Inside Water Play Activity’ here.

All you need is a couple of cups of water, which you can colour using food colouring, different shaped containers and spoons.

It is a good idea to put an old towel on the floor to mop up spillages and cover the table with a plastic tablecloth. I have several that I buy from the pound store – great for picnics and using under a high chair.

My daughter tried a simplified version with her Mayhem.  She used just a few different cups with plain water, and then some bath toys in a big square plastic box.  My granddaughter loved it and played it again today.

I don't think this will work!

But this does!

But this does!

If we do get a warm summer you can use an old baby bath with a little bit of water in it and play outside. See 4 ways to use the baby bath

If you do use a baby bath for water play activities never leave a filled baby bath unsupervised.  Babies and toddlers can drown in very shallow water
