The foyer doubles as an activity area and has has been designed with young children in mind.

In one corner is a dressing up area, and in the other a book corner with comfy seating.  More soft seating surrounds the wall. In the centre are rocking horses.

While we were there it was very peaceful but that all changed as a workshop in the adjacent Activity Theatre finished and all the children appeared excited and happy.  We can’t wait to bring our grandchildren to the special early years shows and workshops.

There is also a small garden and play ground although it was too cold to explore it when we visited

The café has a child menu and plenty of fruit cakes and snacks for children as well as sandwiches, paninis and jackets for adults. We had great fun eating in the little train booths. They also cater for children’s tea parties.
