London Tube and Bus concessions for children

travel pass

The great thing about living in London (Greater London Authority area) and being of a certain age is that we qualify for a Freedom Travel Pass which allows us to travel free on London’s public transport, and some National Rail routes within London. This makes travelling in London very economical with our grandchildren.  You can also use an English National Concessionary Pass (issued to those who live elsewhere in England) on the buses.

Details about fares for travelling with children are on the Transport for London Website (Travelling with Children Page)

This page is here and explains about whether payment is required, and also if a photocard is necessary
