Bishop’s Park Fulham – ‘seaside’ by The Thames

If you find yourself in West London on a hot day there is no better place to visit the ‘seaside’  and relax and cool off with the Mayhems at Bishop’s Park.

Papa Joe and I were walking through the park and were attracted by the screams of delight as adults and children played in the large paddling pool. Beside the pool is a large sand ‘beach’, so don’t forget to take a bucket and spade!

Amazing what you discover alongside the north bank of The Thames in Fulham!

The pool and beach were renovated in 2011 and provide a great area to play in. The pool is open daily 10am to 7pm during the summer months.

Nearby are two large well thought out playgrounds. One is designed for toddlers and the other has equipment suitable for older children.

The grounds are lovely and if you have time you can also wander around the adjoining Fulham Palace which has a delightful museum and grounds.
